Konig | Trainer

König (/ˈkeɪnɪɡ/; [ˈkøːnɪç]) is German for "king".

One that is supreme or preeminent in a particular group, or category.

The Konig trainer takes all the great features from the original Konig, just, you know, as a trainer instead. The live blade comes in at 32.7 grams, whereas the trainer blade is 34.7 grams. So expect it to be a bit more neutral than the live bladed models.

The trainer blades are also available as a standalone product for those who already own a Konig live blade model. The standalone trainer blade will ship with bushings that are fitted to the blade. I can't guarantee they will all be perfectly tuned upon install. Most should be ok, but if you run into any issues, shoot me a message and we'll get it figured out.

The Konig features anodized 7075 channel aluminum handles, jimping to help with ladders, and a brand new weight system developed specifically for this knife. Each Konig will include 3 different sets of SS weights, so you can pick your preferred balance. Swapping the weights out takes just seconds using the included allen wrench.

Coming standard with a brushed finish 440c trainer blade, it will have the looks, as well as the performance to go with it. Press fit zen pins ensure rigidity, durability, as well as a great feel and sound.
